Mission Statement:
Our mission is to bring people together, support underserved families, and reduce waste. Tiny Ties provides children with what they need to succeed while minimizing environmental impact by pairing families whose children have outgrown basic items and toys to families in need. We facilitate the donation of gently used baby essentials and toys, taking the hassle out of spring cleaning and donation drop-offs, and the worry out of raising young children without enough resources.

About Tiny Ties
Hi, I'm Ellie Umberg, the founder of Tiny Ties
I'm a high schooler in San Francisco who was raised by a single mom who worked incredibly hard, but we couldn’t always afford the toys or baby gear that other families had. Now, as a big sister to two toddlers, our house is full of things they’ve already outgrown, but we’re always too busy to make donation runs or figure out where everything should go. I started Tiny Ties to simplify the process of donating gently used items for families like mine in a way that is hassle free, reduces waste, and supports the local community. I believe that every child deserves the chance to grow, play, and feel cared for. Tiny Ties is making that just a little more possible.
